½ an hours drive from Knock Airport and
Sligo Town, it is the perfect base from which
to explore the western and northern counties.
The
property is situated in the townland of Moygara,
famous for Moygara Castle, dating from 12th century.
It is beside Mullagh an Ti mountain, near the
village of Monasteraden, beside Lough Gara. Lough
Gara is the site of many crannogs and also a popular
spot for fishing. |

2 Double-rooms ensuite & 2 twin-rooms), a
fully Fitted Kitchen, Dining Room, Utility Room,

house is fully furnished with all modern conveniences
including oil central heating, TV, video player,
DVD player, washing machine, tumbledryer &
dishwasher. Fully self contained and superbly
furnished, it comfortably sleeps 8 people in 4
luxury spacious bedrooms. |

of the original stonework has been restored and
the very comfortable sitting room boasts a wonderful
traditional stone fireplace. The beautiful traditional
pine kitchen is fully equipped with all modern
conveniences, including hob, oven, dishwasher,
freezer, microwave and toaster. A large range
of kitchen implements are provided. The dining
room has seating for 8 people, ideal for that
special meal, and outside there is a patio area
with barbeque and picnic benches. There is a large
lawn which is ideal for kids to play on. |

The nearest shopping village is that of Gurteen,
which is known as "Coleman country"
after the famous Irish traditional musician,
Michael Coleman. There are many pubs in Gurteen,
which are famous for Irish music seisuns at
weekends.

are stables with horse riding and there are plenty
of good cycling routes in the area - Horse racing,
flat and national hunt in Sligo, Surfing at Strandhill,
Sligo.
