is open day when a round of golf will cost only €20

Golf Club ( news from week ending 13th Jan 2013)
Last Sunday nine hole stableford was won by Jim Mooney
with 24pts, 2nd Michael Simon 23pts, 3rd Patrick Egan
23pts. The weekly competition was won by Charlie O’Donnell
21pts. The monthly presentation of prizes took place
last Sunday evening. Next presentation will take place
on Sunday 10th February.
Competitions
for this week are the weekly nine hole running Monday
– Saturday, see noticeboard for details and a
nine hole stableford next Sunday. Please put your
name on the volunteers sheet on the noticeboard if
you are able to give time on the course or in the
clubhouse. The first Club newsletter has been published
and is available at the club.
The
January draw was held last Sunday evening. Jackpot
winner was Tom Kearney €100, runners up Liam
Mullaney and Susan & Brendan Gaffney €50
each. Thanks to all who took part. Next draw Sunday
February 10th. New members welcome.
A
special meeting open to all members will be held on
Sunday January 27th to present the results of the
survey. If anyone would like to still take part please
send form to Michael Gilmartin, Carrickmore, Boyle
or post in scorecard box at the clubhouse.
Members
can avail of a special 5% discount off single, family
or beginner membership fees if paid before January
