Location
The Self Catering Accommodation operates from Easter
to the end of September. People staying in the rented
accommodation have free access to the open farm. The
accommodation has 2 bedrooms ( sleeps five ).
Glendeer Pet Farm. Award winning open farm, featured
on "No Frontiers" on national t.v. on 13th
Mar. 07. Apartment over looking 6 acre farm with over
50 species of animals and birds. You have free access
to open farm while staying in apartment.
Glendeer
Farm is an award winning 6 acre open farm which is
family owned and run by the O'Connells. There are
3 aspects to this award winning enterprise:
- Pet Farm
- Self Catering Accommodation
- Ireland's Lapland
The
Pet Farm opened its gates to the public in April 1991
with over 50 species of animals and birds. Since the
pet farm opened it has been featured on numerous TV
programmes and has won several awards. Glendeer Farm
open's every year for the Summer season from Easter
week straight through to the end of September
The
Self Catering Accommodation also operates from Easter
to the end of September. People staying in the rented
accommodation have free access to the open farm.
Ireland's
Lapland. Glendeer is transformed into Irelands Lapland
for the month of December with Santa and his reindeer,
a crib with a live cow and donkey, a snow scene and

Throughout
the year Glendeer Farm hold special events:
- Easter Weekend: Sat, Sun, Mon; Easter Egg Hunts
