situated on our private 51 acre farm, offering
seclusion and privacy from its location on the
periphery of the Curlew Mountains with breathtaking
views over Lough Arrow and the surrounding mountains.Ballaghboy
Lodge Farm, Ballinafad, Co. Sligo in the North
West of Ireland is situated within easy reach
of the main N4 Dublin to Sligo Road, on a quiet
lane located off the Curlews Drive, a recognised
scenic route, and yet only a few minutes' drive
from Ballinafad village. In the village there
is a Church, Post Office/Shop and Pub. If you
enjoy walking, our farm is located on a mapped
Historical Trail.

of Cabins - Double Bed or Twin Bed
The
eco-friendly log cabin accommodation ideally
sleeps two adults and two children/teenagers
and comprises bedroom/lounge (with a choice
of either double or twin beds), shower room,
kitchen and additional upstairs loft sleeping
area (with restricted head height).

Facilities

All
linen and towels will be supplied with the accommodation
and a welcome pack will be awaiting you on your
arrival. Within the cabin you will find maps
and literature on local attractions, restaurants
etc. Adjoining
the cabin there is a large veranda, should you
wish to dine outside, or BBQ, and a parking
area. The cabins are offered on a self-catering

Town which is steeped in history is 7 kms away,
and boasts the beautiful Lough
Key Forest Park and activity centre, Boyle
Abbey and King House,
together with a comprehensive range of shops,
hotels, restaurants and entertainment and a mainline
railway station to and from Dublin/Sligo. The
cosmopolitan and popular riverside town of Carrick-on-Shannon
is a 15 minute drive and the vibrant city of Sligo
is approximately 25 minutes' drive from Ballinafad

estate contains many walks & trails through
the woodlands and forests, Bog Garden and 19th
century parkland with it's majestic trees, follies,
bridges and canals. The Lough Key Experience
will take you on an engaging audio journey
of nature and history, through the 19th century
underground servant's tunnels, up the Morlurg
Tower and along Ireland's only Tree Canopy Walk
- a 300m long creation of timber and
steel, that gently rises 9m above the woodland
floor offering a 'Bird's Eye' view of the landscape.

in our newly completed eco-friendly farmhouse with
geo-thermal underfloor heating. All guest rooms have
ensuite facilities, wireless broadband, a TV / DVD,
and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms are available
on a week to week basis and all rooms, with the exception
of the ground floor family room, have the benefit
of lake views.
