The weekend is an opportunity to get together with old friends, neighbours & relations. It may be of particular interest to people from the district that have moved away and may have no immediate family left around Boyle. All very welcome, locals especially.

Bridgestone Award winning Boyle Farmers Market, in the grounds of King House. Along with the excellent variety of locally produced fresh, wholesome produce, there will be live music and free children's face-painting.
Take a guided tour of King House and view the Boyle Arts Festival collection of Art & Sculpture.

Exciting Bolshoi Boat race on Boyle River, organised by James Candon jnr, with approx €1000 in prize money. Prize giving will take place at the Buffet-Dance in St.Joseph's Hall later tonight
Visit the new Lough Key resort, where it will be possible to climb the Moylurg Tower and take in the impressive views of Lough Key and then walk along Irelands only Tree Canopy Walk.

A special celebration Mass will be held in St Josephs Church at 11.30.
Then, time to say good-byes and hopefully bring away great memories and new friendships. More details will be available nearer the time
