For
40 years the Burke Family has successfully operated
a tourism business at Riversdale. Their reputation
for hospitality and friendliness is evidenced in particular
by the high percentage of repeat and referred bookings
(80%), they receive annually. Numerous letters of
appreciation and comments in visitor books provide
further evidence of that reputation. The Burke family
commit to provide a unique experience for visitors
in an unspoilt rural setting.
Since
2002 a research project and archaeological dig has
been taking place at the "Bishops Seat"
on Riversdale farm alongside Riversdale Self-catering.
Indications are that this site will be of national
