Location
Situated beside beautiful Lough Key Forest & Adventure Park, Lough Key Holiday Village is a new development of eight luxury 4* Failte Ireland approved 3 & 4 bed cottages. Whilst its location offers excellent opportunities for fishing and sight seeing, the spacious interior, presented to an exceptional standard throughout, ensures every comfort whatever the season. There are plenty of amenities in the surrounding localities to occupy even the most adventurous of those among us or if you prefer just kick back, enjoy the scenery and do nothing. Come and stay, and find out for yourself why people always come back.
Accommodation Details

There are three and four bedroom detached houses on their own grounds suitable to sleep up to 6 and 8 people respectively. Two of the three en-suite bedrooms are located on the first floor with the main bathroom, third bedroom, modern kitchen and large living/dining area located on the ground floor.

The development is newly constructed and is exquisitely furnished and equipped to the highest standard to include: Fully equipped kitchen including microwave and dishwasher; Large living/dining room with television/DVD and open fire; Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer; Large main bathroom fitted with shower and full size jacuzzi bath; Oil fired central heating; Private entrance with automatic gates, car parking and large green for play; Wheelchair friendly; Access to Lough Key Marina, slipway, facilities etc.

Facilities
The Moorings pub and restaurant is also located onsite and is renowned for its fine food and regular music sessions. Lough Key Marina is located beside the complex, set in 10 acres of natural habitat the marina is surrounded by woodland, reeds and natural countryside. Visitors to our cottages have access to the marina and enjoy boat trips on the lake exploring the shoreline and taking in its many islands. There are numerous walks and nature trails affording lovely views within the forest park and motor boat hire and water skiing are available locally (seasonal).

Golf - Boyle 9 hole Golf course is 3 miles out the Roscommon Road and 18 hole Carrick-On-Shannon Golf course is 6 miles away on the N4. There is a links course available 30 miles away in Rosses Point, Sligo.
Walking - Miners Way & Historical Way, which are both marked walks are in close proximity. There are several short walks along the canal and around the town.

Convenient to Lough Key Resort, with 350 hectre parklands estate contains many walks & trails through the woodlands and forests, Bog Garden and 19th century parkland with it's majestic trees, follies, bridges and canals. The Lough Key Experience will take you on an engaging audio journey of nature and history, through the 19th century underground servant's tunnels, up the Morlurg Tower and along Ireland's only Tree Canopy Walk

Carrick-on-Shannon - This bustling town (16km away) is not only the largest centre for river cruises on the Shannon but also boasts a variety of shopping and evening entertainments. As the name suggests, Carrick-on-Shannon sits directly on the river Shannon and is known throughout Ireland as the cruising capital of the Shannon. It boasts a beautiful modern marina and is also the most northerly hire point on the river. Carrick has a wealth of historical interests, a great selection of restaurants and plenty of pubs with music and fun for all. If you want to get in a spot of shopping you might drop in on the Leitrim Design House or the Market Yard Centre. Carrick is a great town and well worth a visit. Cinemaplex, bowling alley & large indoor play Kingdom and Aura swmming centre available in nearby Carrick-On-Shannon
